If you are referring to Marijuana, it is no longer illegal in CA, AZ,
and VA when used as a bonafide medical treatment under the
reccomendation and supervision of a licensed medical doctor.
Hence, by your logic, people in htose states anre NOT out of their
minds but people in other states ARE outof their minds.
I don't think that the legal status of any substance has any relation
to its medical efficacy or its toxicity. there are literally
thousands of 100% legal substances that are 1,000,000 % more toxic
than marijuana, morphine, opium, or cocaine. The reality is that
substances aren't legal or illegal based on their toxicity or
potential for harm. Such decisions (what is outlawed and what is
encouraged) are ALWAYS ENTIRELY political.
If marijuana, heroin, and cocaine were the drug of choice in the
dominant community, instead of alcohol, they wouold as legal as
alcohol or tobacco. They were only outlawed BECAUSE of WHO was using
them.
Now we all know that is true. So lets put this issue to rest.
Successful drug warriors know better than to try anything as lame as
scare tactics.

Ty
