That has been one of my big concerns. Jeremy has been on Ritalin for 4
months now and we are trying to "zoom" in on the approriate doseage hoping
that this will take some of the edge of the impulisivity.
I have several friends who don't understand why I will not walk on the
street with Jeremy without holding his hand. They figure at 7 years old
that he can be trusted to stay where it's safe. I have not yet been able to
convince them just how dangerous it is for Jeremy. He would not think twice
about running in front of a speeding truck that is between him and whatever
catches his eye Of course, th ereal problem is that he won't think *ONCE*,
he just goes.....
