subject: LEDS for PCMCIA modem

Hi! Tony,

On 17 Jul 96 08:24:04, Tony Molina whispered to All:

 TM> I have a Netcomm 14.4k PCMCIA fax/modem in my Sharp notebook.
TM> Being a PC card of course there is no familiar TX/RX etc modem lights
TM> to tell what is going on with it. The bundled software COOEE includes
TM> a "modem lights" TSR program but for some reason this
doesn't work on
TM> my notebook. (It loads ok but the onscreen lights dont change their
 TM> state).
TM> Anybody know of a generic TSR modem lights program that should work
 TM> with my modem?

If you're still using Windows, you could try MicroLink (aka Comit). It's
always done well with all the internals that I've had.

TM> Please dont reply via Fido netmail as I rarely log on to this BBS.

WTF! Echomail's alright, isn't? Bugger _that_ other net.

Cheers,
Paul.
