Hello Bob -

BS> side of the gateway in the form
BS> "firstname.lastname!zone.net.node.po int{at}filegate.net".

At the time I posted that only my name had the
!1.106.2000.0{at}filegate.net included, now I see others too. My
OLR is not programmed to do a substring search for my name in
the "To:" field. As it is now my OLR would tell me I have no
messages posted "To:" me in the C_ECHO. Misspellings or 'cute'
variations of my name would have the same effect. I would have
to notice the messages since my OLR would not 'flag' them as
being to me.

BS> If I were going to do anything maliciously special to

I already _am_ invisible here, haven't you noticed? ;-)

BS> This is a new system which only began working in the last

On FIDO spite is quite a motivator AFAIK. ;-)

BS> If the format causes problems with your, or anyone else's,

I just did. Later in this same message your reply is a bit
different.

BS> I understand that. What I don't understand is why such a

It wouldn't specifically target those with a talent for 'C' but
would reduce the amount of "dirt" (to use your analogy).

RBS>>> This isn't about collecting code for SNIPPETS, it's

I agree with the mining operation analogy, not so sure I
would've chosen "dirt" though.

First you say people here should express their views then you
go for the "cheap shot" that I should be the moderator or my
opinions are meaningless. As I told you when I declined to be
the moderator of the DOS portion of _your_ forum at snippets, I
seek no position or title and have no 'group' or 'club' and
don't intend to start one.
