Halliburton is one of the few companies in the world that can handle
certain things. That's why Bill Clinton gave them a $1 Billion NO BID
contract in Kosovo. Duh....
Bush-Overbey Oil Development Co. is an insignificant (now defunct?) tiny
company when it comes to the oil business.
If your criteria applied across the board the only people who could become
president without being deemed automatically a crook if the economy does
better is somebody who either a) never worked in the private sector or b)
was never successful at rising past the mail room in the private sector or
c) a person whose only work experience is in working for government.
Why is it that your formula doesn't strike me as leading to the best and
the brightest serving our country? Could it be your formula is biased
against smart successful people and in favor of bureaucratic, never had to
meet a payroll with their own money, rose to the top through political
gamesmanship only kinda of guys.
Not a good plan, George.
