Hey Alan!
AI> Yep, AFIK we should be good in this area.
Yeppers. Definetly good vibes from the right direction ... despite all the
stinkin' Windows software that is. :::sigh::: Kids these days eh?
AI> That's right, on this box I use en_CA.UTF-8
Okee dokee I think I have you properly adjusted now. Outputting en_CA.utf8
which is basically ascii as it turns out. I am leaving the default as
fr_CA.utf8 though as it will occasionally throw a multibyte character into the
extra-special datetime stamp in the message body when appropriate.
While I have your attention, what do you think about the ftn address splitting
routine? I use it for things like;
bso_ctrl_basename=$(printf "%04x%04x" $destNet $destNode)
Works like a charm.
Life is good,
Maurice
... Don't cry for me I have vi.
