People seem to be focused more on the questions being raised over
Clinton's affairs than over his alleged crimes at this point. If this
pattern continues and Clinton is ultimately forced to resign because of
criminal violations it may very well be that Gore would pardon him
while the Clintons, Gore, and the current personnel in the
administration play the sympathy card claiming Clinton was unjustly
harassed out of office by invasions of his personal life.
This, of course, would be BS, but it does seem to be the type of
BS that people are generally willing to believe.
