Hi Mike,
-> net use o: \\sx33#1\sx33-e
MM>I do however have some questions about the NET USE command.
MM>I see that you are using it to redirect the O: drive (which I guess is a
MM>networked drive?) to E: drive,
sx33-e is the E: drive on the second system, it is redirected as O:
MM> my question is; Can this also be used to
MM>redirect the networked O: drive to read like a drive that is already
MM>being used by a logical drive on the other system?
as far as I am aware, no, you cannot, you will get an error saying the
device name is already in use...
MM>What I am trying to do is get another Node of my system (a Local node)
MM>to be able to be used on the other system in the network without having
MM>to jump through a Bunch of hoops.
Best of luck to you :) I would have one system as a server, other
systems that are lanned to it have just a C: drive, all BBS files
start on D: of the server (c: drive on all systems have just the
operating system)
 cya later,
 Paul.
