I was in England last week (Winchester) and noticed this item in the press.
I also noticed that the bill was (apparently) authored by Britain. I
couldn't help but draw the correlation between the British authorship of
this invasive bill, and all the CCTV and speed cameras that have long since
sprouted like weeds everywhere you look in Britain.

One evening I watched a BBC show which portrayed the extensive use of CCTV
to catch petty shoplifters fleeing the scene of the crime. I was amazed
that not once during the hour was there even a single allusion to how
creepy this massive state intrusion was. It was just good police work.

So much for privacy in the land of Orwell. And according to my colleagues
there, other than some modest wimpering about the speed cameras, nary a
peep from the populace.
