Thank you ..... "Baby" passed away on June 15th and I've really had a
hard time getting over this - she was my favorite. There are 4 other horses
here (and I love them all) but "Baby" was just something special!

Sounds to me like you're just what the veterinarian field needs
......I do wish you luck in whatever you choose!!

Yes, I think everyone has his/her own unique personality for sure. We
had special "barn" names for all here (not their nicknames, but other names
because of their characheristics) ...... First there'Tuffy - he's a little
10.1 hand pony -- we call him the 'LITTLE PRINCE' (and, that's just the way
he acts). Then there's Shammie - she's a 15.3 hand tall sorrell
Anglo-Arabian - we call her the 'QUEEN OF LABELLE'. There's Mr X (actually
his registered name is PROPHET OF XANABAR) - he's a 15.1 hand tall Grey
Arabian - we call him the "COURT JESTER". And, last but not least, there's
PATTI - over 16 hand tall PAINT - we thought in this "royal family" she just
had to be FERGIE .
"Baby"s place in this 'royal family' was the DOWAGER QUEEN. "Baby" was
regal - my mother used to say that she acted like a real 'lady' ...

Yes, they certainly CAN be jealous ........ Mr X is
extremely jealous when I pay any attention to any of the
other horses. Mr X is quite a character too so I know what you are talking
about
> possible that they can tell our character and that we
> care about them?
Oh, I'm sure that they can ...... they MUST be able to tell who loves
'em. And, I KNOW they can tell who is afraid of them

You know what I'm feeling then ........ I think that most really, truly
'animal people' understand. I do believe that you are one of those special
people who loves animals very much!!
> My sincerest regards, Marianne
Thank you so much ....... and, thanks for your message!
