I'm one of those who believe that Bush's actions in this regard aren't
particularly effective and, in the case of Iraq, are counter productive.
I'm also disappointed that the USA, with all the resources at its disposal,
couln't come up with a diplomatically palatable way to handle the Iraq
situation. Instead, you're burning through your international goodwill. The
trouble with pissing off your neighbours is that they'll stop lending you
their lawnmowers and develop a marked disinclination to help when your
basement floods.
