My favourite here is when an accident or whatever stops traffic in one of our vehicle tunnels. You turn on the radio for some musical relief from the frustration, but find that every thirty seconds an announcement is made over the radio telling you that a traffic incident has halted traffic, and drive carefully and obey the overhead traffic signs. For safety reasons, they HAVE to broadcast this rubbish, despite the fact that they have nothing to say.
