The oil companies are NOT making outrageous profits.  I thought you were
smarter than to fall for these old democrap lies.  Even right now, those so
called record profits that were just announced as a percentage of sales are
NOT as high as the average percentage of profit on sales that exists for
all corporations.  Oil companies record profits are around 7% of sales and
the average for all corporations is around 11%.  Most of the oil companies
"record profits" are paper generated inventory valuation profits
caused by fluctuations in oil prices.  Those prices go up they make more on
paper. Then they go down and they lose more on paper.  Their net profit on
sales and cash flow however are NOT as high as the average corporation.

Military industrial companies are NOT making record profits.  In fact the
industry has been in a state of constant flux, most years  out of the last
couple of decades have piled up losses, and as a result over the last 2
decades the military equipment manufacturers have continued to consolidate
as companies losing money were bought out by other companies who later went
on to lose money and get bought out.  Plant closings and layoffs are the
order of the day for most of these companies over the past 20 years.

Halliburton is a construction company more than it is anything else.

So the entire premise of your false allegations fails to support your
erroneous conclusion.  However, what I found most disturbing by your
statement was the cavalier way in which you state Bush once worked in the
oil industry and Cheney once worked in the construction industry so
naturally that means they ginned up a war so their friends could get rich.
Such statements are not  only not supported by ANY EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER, but
assumes in Bush and Cheney a kind of character or spirit of one's soul that
is not only flatly wrong but only visible from flying moonbats.
