Hi, Mark-
*** Quoting Mark Hofmann from a message to Sean Dennis ***

Squish is the message base format introduced with Maximus BBS. Many other
BBS ¨software packages have adopted Squish as one of their message base
formats. ¨

Pascal and C are actually quite different when you get down to the brass
tacks, ¨but if you can program in Pascal, you generally can read and
understand C to a ¨point (no pun intended). I won't go into the
differences here, but there are ¨some rather large differences. I simply
haven't learned C since I've not had ¨time. Pascal's worked for me over
the years so I've followed the old adage of ¨"if it works, don't fix
it". ;)

That would be a very major overhaul and only a really experienced C/C++
¨programmer should tackle that. Unfortunately, programmers around here
seem to ¨be far and few between and even fewer are programmers that have
the time or ¨desire to tackle BBS projects since there's no money in it.
Later,
