You've got company.  I think the original series is the best.  The stories

much better than those of the new treks in my opinion.  The new stuff is
begining to look like soap operas.  There's more sex and love affairs than
going where no man has gone before.  The only thing TOS lacks is special
effects, but that isn't what makes the show.  A show isn't better just 
ecause
it looks more real when they fire a photon torpedo.  I agree with you
completely on the order treks you mentioned above.  I'm doing a survey on
which is the best trek series, I'll count what you said above as your answer.
