I must admit I've neverused the software I got with my Optima. I use DOS
software for running the BBS/Mailer etc, and fax; and use (reluctantly)
Windoze
software for the Internet, although I am thinking of going back to KA9Q (DOS
stuff this) for an intergrated Fidonet/Internet mail set-up. DOS is so much
more
reliable, and faster too - a DOS based BBS system can easily be run on a 386
with 4MB of ram - you can't do that at a decent speed in Wondows.
Regards,
Ian
