Not quite.   My understanding from my own personal reading (I have no idea
what catholic doctrine on this is supposed to be) is that the tribulation
of terrible plagues, etc is 7 years long and the rapture occurs half-way
into the tribulation.  That means even believers who will be taken away in
the rapture suffer for the first 3.5 years of the 7 year tribulation.  They
don't get off scott free.
