From: "Gary Britt"

Jimmy Carter signed FISA into law, but still maintained that he had
inherent authority to do things outside of FISA. Why sign that law if he
already had the authority?

Why ask congress for something you already have authority to do? Are you
really that short on imagination and nuance.?

Yes less take Daschle's word for it, he's unbiased and truthful....NOT.

In that very same resolution congress also didn't explicitly approve
grabbing up USA citizen's who are enemy combatants and holding them
indefinitely without charges till the war is over, yet the Supreme Court in
Hamdi said that's EXACTLY what congress said.

Are you really this obtuse or just blinded by partisanship?
