That's why it's called "consumer" rather than "professional".  
A pro would know why Sonic Solutions had a lot to do with helping small 
studios deal with CDs, and realize how comparatively affordable their product 
is.  A consumer would likely have no idea what I'm talking about, and think 
the $$$ involved were very high.
