whatever you do, if you want to raise budgies, don't get rid of all the 
"American" keets. You will increase production by fostering English babies to 
the keets. The keets tend to raise more babies than the temperamental 
nglish.
English are known for raising babies almost grown and then ripping their 
heads off. The keets will usually raise their babies and those of the English 
too.
Figure out which of your birds are good clean and healthy birds that have 
good feeding habits. They will teach the babies in the nest about feeding and 
one day they will be good parents too. I have had this work out for years 
ow.
