An architect friend gave me a catalog from a supply company with a
table showing, interestingly to me, different thicknesses of glass
selectively absorb midrange and lower frequencies. It looks like it
shouldn't be thought of as just a reflector.

The Allens should be able to stay warm next winter if they use those
