While listening to Russell Brooks Pete heard:USR Courier
G'day Russell
DH> According to Joe in the USR_MODEMS echo, there is now a new
DH> Australian 33.6 release - SDLPALLB.. Not yet
DH> seen, but I'd expect him to be passing out straight goods.
RB> SDLPALLA has always been for european USR Couriers Be interested
RB> to see this SDLPALLB. The yanks are grouping us with Europe now.
SA> If they are different, why is Australia, Japan, etc Listed in a
SA> US SDL?
DH> The original setup was common code with a delta. Something's
DH> changed since, specifically to disable our ability to run US
DH> code.
RB> I've said all along, that you shouldn't have shot your mouth off
RB> about being able to "enhance" the code....It was only time
RB> before someone would wakeup.
Guess there's a few of us guilty of that
:-(
RB> Seems you messed in your own nest.
RB> How about, We take all this USR Modem talk to the International
RB> USR_MODEMS echo and see if this Aust_modem echo is better for
RB> it. As most traffic here now is USR stuff and we are smoothering
RB> all the "Made in Australia" stuff.
I disagree the USR echo is almost to big to read now without us adding
to it, Besides if we stay here we may convert a few more lost souls
into zelots. :-)
Pete.
