The dirt will crud up the paint and requires some major scrubbing to get
through it all. The first time I used the Nu-Finish, I had to really scrub
the trouble spots (the hood) where it looked like some oxidation had taken
place. The Nu-Finish was able to bring the shine and gloss look back to it.

I also like the fact that it lasts a long time.

I use Mother's Chrome polish on the HD. That stuff does a good job, too.

I just make sure I get all the wax/polish off and don't put it in hard to
clean areas. The downside of not being able to get the Nu-Finish off after
long periods of time if not scubbed off is probably one of the reasons that
it lasts so long as a wax. I have never seen a standard wax last almost a
solid year.

RW> There has to be a touchless car wash in your area. Run it through once a

Even the scrubbing car washes wouldn't have cleaned my car, originally.
Too much scum and oxidation on it. After some scrubbing with the
Nu-Finish, it looks new again.

The winter months are much more harsh on the paint than summer, given all
the salt in the winter. I try to get that cleaned up quickly.
