I wonder your logic here.  First off, you demand that 'true believers' asyou
refer to them, PROVE the existance of alien life, to put your terminalogy
into a better phrase.  Then you go right on and declare that you will not
'waste your time' disproving them.
As far as 'insulting garbage against skeptics', in the past few months that
I have been following this echo,  I have seen little, if any, evidense of
this.  The few things that I have seen that could possibly be construed as
such, were mostly comments about people not supporting their comments with
any sort of documented facts, which I would hardly consider insulting, and
was pretty evenly distributed between both sides of the argument.
Personally, I am on neither side.  I allow for the possibility of alien
life.  However, I haven't seen any evidense to support this belief.  Neither
have I seen anything proving that there is no alien life.  I accept UFO's
for what they are: "Unidentified Flying Objects."  Whether they are test
aircraft, weather balloons, alien spacecraft, whatever, is not the point.
The fact that they are NOT identifiable at the present is what interests me.
And the chance to look into the evidense and possibly identify them is what
keeps the juices going. I'd be just as satisfied if it was a new jet as I
would if it was an alien vehicle.  There are a lot of things in the universe
that I personally don't understand, and I want to learn everything I can
about everything I can.  Rudeness and the ignorance of not listening to
differing views precisly because they are differing views does not nuture
the learning enviroment.
