here here.. i got an '78 olds delta 88 (basically stock cept' the addition of
a gauge set) and i would rather go places in my car, which I can average
almost 16-17 mpg on the highway if i am gentle on the accelerator (or take
the frontage roads and get 23 like that one time).. another thing is that I
would rather be in my car than let's say a ford tempo if someone hit me.. i
like having all the steel encompassing me, i mean nowadays cars have doors
that are 1 1/2-2" wide.. mine last time i knew, i would guess maybe 3-3
1/2".. just that added steel makes me feel safer
