Yes - and it didn't.  This is consistent with my HST experiences before the
great purge.  Even PEP had its limits.

Point taken.  I think I'll start a snoop campaign among the vets inhabiting
FN_SYSOP, and see if we can get something more concrete.  Finding it
credible, and actually happened, are two different kettles of fish.
