Probably it will be only one of several possible formats - right? (Sort of like THEDRAW or ANSIPAINT?) > but yeah , what i mean by it, I want to be able to save > the file as an ansi, and be able to display it on the > screen without using an ansi driver if you know what I > mean. Pick up a copy of Bob Stout's SNIPPETS. This is a compilation of postings made to the C_ECHO and C_PLUSPLUS conferences over many years. It includes a couple of ANSI interpreters - at least one in C, written by Mark Kimes', and another one written in C++ by me. If you're after the C++ one, then go for the most recent version of SNIPPETS, which is - if I recall - only a couple of months old since the earlier version had a minor bug that prevented some screens from displaying correctly. SNIPPETS contains lots of useful code, for the novice and experienced user alike. > Instead of using the ansi value for colours etc, I want > to be able to use the c equivilant.
