It was. :) A flaming Debate Bickerfesting Conference.

Never was that IIRC but then recall this echo was never officially
moderated by anyone but the posters themselves whom never engaged in
this... It just wasn't done.
Case to point here is SELF-moderation CAN work. :-)
THUS I would say the best description for this echo might well be
:whatever you make it to be.... So far (with A_G struggling to come
back to life, the current albeit small population has not shown any
indication of wanting this echo to be a cybersex show. So be it. :)
Besides isn't cybersex frowned upon by the Fido gods or
against Fido Rules?
IMHO I find cybersex to be nothing but verbal masturbation. Gets
boring very fast... It's just another tool for senseless bickerfesting.

IIRC it was MEANT to be a flame/debate echo. SOMEBODY (me) and
another gal were trying to steer it into an honest non flame echo. In
doing so (too much too late) we drove the chief flamer away and that's
why the echo ended up empty for a long time... until you and I decided
to try to spark it back to life. Why? Heh.. because, we can.

... "To be or not to be." is *not* a question.
