 KA> BTW, who's Kayak?
Band from the Holland/Denmark area, that was first released as a
part of Pink Floyd's album arm, Harvest, which was a very progressive
label at the time, and stayed in the background with some rather
interesting music.
See See The Sun, is their best album, though the other one ( with the
hand coming through the door ) is also very good but is not as good,
or focused as the prior album.
Harvest released both See See The Sun, and Triumvirat's very first
album on the same day, and mailing package to the radio stations,
and though we played them both, I thought that Kayak was better,
though more eccentric, but Triumvirat lasted longer, even after
the stage death of one of its members ( electocuted ). I suppose
that both could be said to be considered copies of the ELP mold,
intheir keyboard laden style, but I really felt that this was a
bad description for Kayak.
