I look forward to the feeling only having to pay property taxes on our
place. We have a way to go, but we will get there.  

Also, you have to figure in the Interest write-offs you can do on your
taxes when you own a home.  The first 5-8 years of a mortgage are almost
all interest, which is a nice chunk to write-off.
