G'Day David,

-=> Quoting David Nugent to Frank Adam <=-
 FA>> Looks interesting, i've never seen an fflush(strcat())

 FA> It's ok, it was only a quick look at the time,has a flush() function i
 FA> mistook for fflush().
 DN> Whew. AFAIK it doesn't redefine the standard library, and
 DN> fflush'ing a non-FILE* would be tantamount to suicide.
Yep, i thought i knew that fflush() can only be used on streams, that's
why i got hung up on it.

 FA> flush(strcat("somestring",var));
 FA> Still looks weird, but i didn't look at what it does yet.

 DN> The slang library is kinda weird, but the approach there is easier
 DN> (imho) to understand than UNIX curses, which is the alternative -
 DN> certainly it is more portable (don't get me started on
 DN> curses, or that's what you'll get!). Besides, it does a lot
 DN> more than just console/terminal I/O - it provides an
 DN> embedded language (called, strangely enough, slang) which
 DN> is fairly c-like. Useful.
Ahahh, i was wondering about those .SL extensions.
