Yes, no question about it.  I was getting over 5% in my high yield savings
before the Obama went on a spending spree.

The only time I rented in my life was when I first moved out of my Mom's
house at age 20.  I rented for 2 1/2 years before building up my income to
buy my first townhome.  

From there, the rest is history..
