From experience.  As a rule I think it is true, from my observations.  They
put one guy off telling him to be patient as they have to think about it,
while with another guy they are ripping his shirt off.  I've seen that
happen.

Me too.  Over the years I've learned not to rush into anything without
giving some thought to consequences.

Right.  I've noticed that too.  However my computers, the ones I decide
what goes onto them and why, have absolutely nothing to do with Microsoft
at any level.  It has worked out great for me but I am very stubborn and
fussy about my stuff.
