While teleporting back from the Restaurant at the End of the Universe,
I overheard jonathan say to all about installing word for windows:

Hi Jonathan.
Whilst I can't help with your immediate problem, I'm puzzled - if your
wp needs are simple, then why couldn't DeScribe, WPWin or the Works wp
do the job?
I use DeScribe 5.0 (am now awaiting latest upgrade) all the time and
it outdoes WinWord on lots of points but mainly on uncluttered
interface - I get lost among all the little icons on the oh-so-many
toolbars when using WinWord.
And I have created so many templates (native concept in OS/2) with
long names like "A4LetterToSupplier" or
"CustomerEnquiryResponse". It's
a simple drag'n'drop onto an open DeScribe desktop area and away I go!
Before giving up on native wp's let's have a look at what you are
doing and see if we can't help you get the horsepower of OS/2 out where
the rubber hits the road (computing-wise, that is!)
Ciao,
John Angelico
