More than slightly. Whenever they spit out numbers to show how good ethanol
is they always quote the numbers "per gallon". So a 10% mix of
ethanol in gas gives a cleaner burn per gallon. What they don't tell you is
the numbers "per mile" because a 10% ethanol mix give you 20%
less miles per gallon.

Per mile numbers show it's a horrible idea that makes things much worse.
But ADM is paying off all the congress critters they can to force this crap
on us (ADM now owns every major ethanol producer in the US).
