Sure. But be aware that your multi-GigaByte hard drive will
be mostly useless with the old DOS due to limitations of the OS
in keeping track of storage sectors. DOS 6.2 was a sixteen bit
system, and used sixteen bit addressing for the most part. If I
recall properly, DOS 5.0 could only handle drives less than 512MB
in size, and 6.2 wasn't a whole lot better. You also can not do
a FAT32 format and expect it to work with DOS later without first
reformatting in FAT16 and partitioning without large drive support
being active. Of course, you can run DOS 6.2 from a bootable
internal IDE Zip drive without any problems, I would imagine.
That would make a dual boot system pretty simple to manage! :)
