DC> HN> Hey Dan, tell me about your new sailboat! I seem to remember that you
DC>Well, I moved the subject back to C-Lark, hoping that someone
DC>will see it...
I seemed to have duped this message to you . Glad that you saw one of
them !
DC> HN> are looking for documentation or something, if you fill me in on what
DC> HN> you're looking for, I'll take a look locally to see whats
DC>Well, it's a "big" 14 footer that needs a bit of work. I
DC>figure it would be best if that I add what's missing, it
DC>might as well be equipement that is usable to keep it in
DC>class regs. The only thing that is really necessary right
DC>now is block and tackle for the boom vang. However, I
DC>understand that it can carry a spinnaker. If so, it's
DC>missing not only the chute, but all the necessary harware!
Keel or centerboard? I'm still looking for a Soling, having had very
little luck in the search, I may head up to seattle to look at some of
the marina bulliten boards to see what they offer . Does your c-lark
have an aluminum mast?
DC> HN> around....you know we'll be back up to Sequim pretty soon!
DC>With a bit of luck, I'll have the boat ready to drop in th
DC>water by then. The hold-up is getting the trailer hitch on
DC>my car.
DC>Anyhow, I've had it out on the water already. In a good
DC>breeze, it really moves! Derrick was a bit (understatement!)
DC>scared. Even Natalie was, and she took the sailing course.
DC>However, she's actually "comfortable" with the fun and is
DC>looking to do that again! Derrick says "I'll go, but only
DC>when it's calmer!!!!!"
DC>Ketch ya soon!
sounds like it was a blast! I guess it heeled over very well in a good
breeze eh? . That makes my wife nervous as well . That's one of
the reasons we are looking at getting a soling....that puppy has a
healthy keel that makes it really tough to dump, but you can heel it
over a loooooong way .
chat with you soon, you know I'm jealous!
