JP>> That's wonderful. For a diabetic's blood sugar
JP>> level.
JW> Yeah, but we've been in that range before, the
JW> two times he went into insulin shock, so we were
JW> glad the vet suggested reducing his insulin and
JW> feeding him a little more. No problems, so far...
Diabetis is difficult to anticipate/predict. That's
what makes it so "exciting." :l
JW> Well, it beat's Stormdoor's habit of lulling us
JW> into a false sense of security by licking the
JW> nose, then biting it.
Ooh, that's a nasty surprise.
I bought another of those long-haired, striped, weasle
toys that the Swarm thought was so neat the first time
I brought one home. It comes in a bubble pack, when I
opened the pack Charlie and Cassie were right there to
see what I was doing. I had the cardboard off the back
and was cradling the plastic bubble in my hand, they
were sniffing it. Suddenly, mild-mannered Piper jumped
into the fray, snatched the weasle out of the plastic
and took off with it in his mouth. After ten minutes of
frenzied attention he completely frazzled the hair,
chewed the tail in half and gutted it. It looks like a
long-dead rat carcass now. I never would have suspected
Piper capable of such violence. I think I have to go
buy another one.
