subject: Printing problem

CS>RW>> HP LaserJet printers are very durable and have a long life but
when they start to do strange things for no apparent reason, it's
usually because some electronic component within the printer itself is
defective.

We had several LJ-4SI printers at the office which went through many
hours of heavy use. Replaced them with the LJ-5 models. It seems your
experience with LJ defects are the same as mine. I've had very few
mechanical failures in HP LJ printers over the years. 99% of the time
the failure is electronic. You're probably right about the printer not
being worth repairing.
