Excuse me... Businesses should have to buy a computer just to keep from
having a self-serving FAX advertiser send unsolicited FAXs to them???
hmmmmm..... I beg to differ!
If you had an office and a parking lot, would you want your competitor
filling up the lot outside? If you had a waiting room, would you want someone
coming in and taking up chairs, and then telling you that you ought to expand
the size of your waiting room and buy more chairs? No??
How welcome are junk FAXs at your office? Think about it... I have a FAX
machine here so that *I* can have the use of it when I need it. I buy the
paper supplies so that I can get the FAXs I need and want. When you send an
unsolicited FAX, you tie up my machine so my legitimate customers cannot use
it, I cannot use it, and by the time it's free, the paper has been used to
print your garbage. If you're going to send FAXs, at least attach your credit
card number so that I can apply an appropriate charge for the time and
supplies you've "stolen" from me.
FAX advertising will have a limited life only because of the abuse some
individuals have chosen to use it for. Think about it.
Cheers,
Sue
