Nope it's been their strategy for ages now. It's what they used to argue at
the Arab League when it was those wot'd made peace with Israel vs those in
the war party.

The Israelis need listening posts close to Tehran & Azerbaijan is
closer to Tehran & other sites of interest than Turkey.
