Arghh - confused the V-s. 'Weapon Shops of Isher' was a 1950s A. E. Van
Vogt novel. Unfortunately he also passed away.
Still liked it better than Slaughterhouse-Five though. I did notice
'Sirens of Titan' at the Border's bookstore today and decided to give it a
try
