Go back 1 grade. You'd be surprised how much even 5 micron will take out.
Mark where the scratch is on the back with a sharpie or other permanent
marker, so you can judge whether it's disappearing, and grind for 10
minutes. See if the scratch is at least partly gone. If not, give it
another 10 minutes and check again. If the scratch isn't disappearing, then
go back another grade and try again.
