Hello Sharon. 02 Aug 05 03:30, you wrote to me: MK>>> I saw that in another message here. If it makes you feel any MK>>> better things are crappy here that way too. Either people can't MK>>> find work or if they do it is always too much for too little, MK>>> monetary and otherwise. SR>> My ex-boss cannot understand why I left, I explained it all to SR>> him but he still cannot see where I am coming from. It was very SR>> rare that I would see the kids during the week or have any time SR>> with the wife which was causing all kinds of domestic bliss :) I SR>> have never been worried about money, I can live without it but it SR>> was the lack of seeing my kids that brought it home to me. The SR>> crux was last week, I had worked Tuesday from 6am till 2am and SR>> thn back in at 6am, did all my deliveries, changed a puncture and SR>> got the puncture fixed, which I never got paid for, and was back SR>> in the yard for 5.30pm. So I texted SR>> the wife to say that I would take the kids down to the beach for SR>> an hour at 7pm, leaving me enough time to finish my work. The SR>> boss decided to clean a freezer which meant that I finished at SR>> 9pm so I was very angry and my kids were upset which made me even SR>> madder. On Monday, we noticed that the spare had gone missing SR>> from my van, my boss infered that I had not put it back correctly SR>> and had lost it on the way backon the previous wednesday. So he SR>> said that I had to replace it, the idea was that I would pay for SR>> it out of my own pocket. I did say to him that I could not afford SR>> it this week as I have a court case in the UK with my ex and all SR>> my money was tied up. He said to order it and we would come to SR>> some arrangement, ie I pay it back over a few weeks. I stewed on SR>> it and by the time I had decided to walk, he had gone out, so I SR>> handed in my keys, uniform etc to his daughter andwalked. SR>> Needless to say, I got a phone call and he could not understand SR>> why I had not talked to him, I said that it would be like talking SR>> to a brick wall :) SC> I think more people should speak up about these kind of bosses but as SC> a group. They can't fire everyone and might wise up....or not!!! If SC> the whole group walked out though it would cause him/her a lot of SC> problems before replacing them. I only got back from England this morning, and I haven't forgotten the other task, and checked my mail, as I asked for my tax cert so that I can pay the correct tax in a new job and not emergency tax. They have not sent it as yet nor have the responded to my email requests about it. But no one else who works for them will stand up to him, he is a bully. I was checking a jobs website where he advertises and she that my old job is now a Coldroom/yard Manager :) Sean --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-041013* Origin: There Can Only Be 1 (2:263/950.95) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 263/950 292/854 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
