Thanks for the reply!  That's about what I expected.  If there's a truly
good artificial retina around that I can use some day for not an
enormous amount of money, I'd almost certainly be glad to give it a try.
 But I've lived a more or less full life as a blind guy since about the
time I went from womb to incubator, and I intend to live more fully
still in any event.  Take care!
