Here I can walk into the city hall and for the price of a blueprint I can
get a lot layout with ownership records for an area. In doing so I have a
clerk busy running around to find and copy the information.

Seems to me for the price of that clerk I could easily put it on the web
and save the cost of the blueprints, in fact in summit county they have
done just that and also linked it into sat photos. It's a fantastic
resource. But it generated a whole lot of privacy screaming about what is
public information.
