Well, if you know where to go with your problems it could be

different (that's why I have saved your message so I have the phone

numbers if something happen to my line :-). How many years you have

spent dealing with Telecom/Telstra, Austel and other bodies -

certainly since I can remember and that'll be a few years. I don't

think that ordinary user would get far calling 13 2200, particulary

when they'd mention modem.



On the other hand it's nice to hear that Telstra has upgraded

their fax testing equipment to V.17 (haven't called them for ages

with the modem).
