    All the current details on the 56K upgrade program are on our web
page at:

(if you don't have access to the web, you would not have any use for a
56K client side modem).
We don't have the details as to exactly what model you would get in the
trade in yet, but we do have upgrade options to select from, all listed
at the above URL on our web page.  Basically if you send in an external
non-Hayes, you get an external 56K back.  If you send in an internal,
you get an internal back.  For an extra fee you can send in internal and
get an external, etc.
These are client side 56K modems.  If you put them on your BBS, callers
will not get 56K, they'll get a max of 33.6.  A 56K modem to a 56K modem
will get you 33.6K.  In order to get 56K, you have to use a client
side 56K modem and call into an online service bringing in their phone
lines digitally and directly into a 56K server side modem.  Which is
basically why I say if you have access to 56K, you pretty much have to
have access to the web as well since only ISP's and Online Services that
give you access to the net will be supporting it.
