AM> True, can *your* local Telstra technician train your line-card's hybrid,

 AM> or

AM> doesn't he even know what it means to train the hybrid of a line card?

I don't know if they do, I am too scared to ask them too, incase they stuff

up my marginal lines, even further.

All the linesmen that have been here in the last 12 months (10 in

total), have looked at me silly, when I have asked them if they Know

exactly who I should contact, in regard to training the hybrids on my

linecards for my 3 lines. And none of them had any idea what I was

talking about.

I want to get it done desperately, but as these are classed as 2 x fax

lines and 1 x phone line (all residential), I am scared that I would

mess in my own nest, by telling them that I have modems on residential

lines, and want them working at peak efficiency.
