-> J> And with the signing of the Genevia convention -> J> there's a good chance that Cheney's fears 'don't try me for illegal -> J> acts..' may come true. I think it's a good idea to do so...I have -> J> stain remover for my clothes...we need some for our government. :-| -> Those Geneva convention *treaties* were signed by the executive and ratified by -> the -> senate. By itself that is meaningless, since the Convention has no enforcement in it. Each country is supposed to pass laws that incorporate the convention into that country's domestic law. The US has done that, and it is now a part of the US Code. The nutcases who are hoping that some foreign country will prosecute Cheney seem unaware of that fact. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:124/311) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/331 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 140/1 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 SEEN-BY: 2320/105 5030/1256 @PATH: 124/311 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
